Abstract: BackgroundThis study was designed to evaluate the cardioprotective effects of Euterpe oleracea Mart., popularly known as “açaí”, on rats subjected to myocardial infarction (MI).MethodsHydroalcoholic extracts of açaí were obtained from a decoction of the seeds.
