Orbital and physical parameters of eclipsing binaries from the All-Sky Automated Survey catalogue

Abstract: Aims. We present results of the combined photometric and spectroscopic analysis of three detached eclipsing binaries, the secondary components of which are not visible or are very hard to identify in the optical spectra – ASAS J052743–0359.7, ASAS J065134–2211.5, and ASAS J073507–0905.7. The first one is the known visual binary ADS 4022, and we found that it is a quadruple system composed of two spectroscopic binaries, one of which shows eclipses. None of the systems have previously been recognized as a spectr… Show more

“…The disentangling typically provides spectra of the fainter components with a higher S/N, which can be used for spectroscopic analysis. The advantages and limitations of the above techniques are discussed in detail by, e.g., Ilijic (2004) or Hełminiak et al (2019).…”

“…-ASAS J065134-2211,5: Hełminiak et al (2019b) presents the orbital and physical parameters of this binary. Concerning the analysis by means of stellar models, they use the PARSEC code from Marigo et al (2017) and they fit the primary star in 1σ for an isochrone of 6.3 Gyr in the observational plan {(M vs T eff ), (M vs L), (M vs R)}.…”

“…They claim that this problem could be related to the chromospheric activity of the system. -ASAS J073507-0905,7: Hełminiak et al (2019b) also studied this binary. The analysis was preformed in the same observational plans.…”
