Abstract: This paper investigates the receptive and expressive vocabulary skills of 202 Arabic/Swedish-speaking and Turkish/Swedish-speaking bilingual children aged 4-7 growing up in Sweden, in their home/minority language (Arabic, Turkish) and in Swedish.
