Organic electron-rich N-heterocyclic compound as a chemical bridge: building a Brönsted acidic ionic liquid confined in MIL-101 nanocages

Abstract: Title: Organic electron-rich N-heterocyclic compound as a chemical bridge: building a Brönsted acidic ionic liquid confi ned in MIL-101 nanocagesThis work introduces a facile post-synthetic modifi cation strategy to synthesize a novel functionalized MIL-101 material in which a Brönsted acidic quaternary ammonium salt ionic liquid is confi ned inside well-defi ned nanocages. It shows excellent catalytic performance for acetalization.
