Origines et enracinement du football-association dans le Pas-de-Calais (fin xix e siècle-1914) : des jeux aux sports ?

Abstract: L’implantation de la pratique du football-association dans le département du Pas-de-Calais est la conséquence de phénomènes originaux et complexes : l’importation du modèle anglais bénéficie d’un « terreau » favorable, constitué par un maillage serré de sociétés de jeux traditionnels puis de gymnastique et de tir, à partir de 1872.
