Overcoming the environmental crisis in the forestry sector of Ukraine in the context of the ecocentric paradigm

Abstract: The purposeof the scientific research is to determine and justify the need to harmonize the environmental legislation of Ukraine and the EU in the field of forest resources, based on the prism of the "ecocentric paradigm and a new worldview". To achieve this goal, general scientific and special scientific methods of cognition were used, in particular dialectical, formal-logical, analysis and synthesis, system-structural, comparative-legal, formal-legal, predictive. The author subst… Show more

“…To qualify this article of the Criminal Code, it is necessary to prove the systematicity of domestic violence. Scientists (Funta, 2016;Gulac et al, 2022;Kondratenko et al, 2020;Ladychenko et al, 2019;Oleksenko et al, 2021;Sobol et al, 2022) and others prove their position that systematicity should be understood as three or more acts of domestic violence. The introduction of criminal liability for domestic violence is definitely a positive step, as understanding the possibility of criminal liability serves as a deterrent for the offender.…”

“…The epidermis is a multifunctional tissue, the size and state of cells of which largely determine the plant's water balance, the intensity of CO 2 assimilation, respiration, which ultimately affects the nature of the production process. The histological features of the cells of the primary integumentary tissue are determined genetically, but their formation and functioning depend on many biological and environmental factors, therefore, in the qualitative and quantitative study of the epidermis, it is necessary to pay special attention to the influence of each of these factors not only separately, but also in their synergistic effect (Vasylevska, 2014;Weaver & Clements, 2008;Wilson, 2002;Wright & Westoby, 2001;Zlobin, 2004;Crawley, 2000;Didukh & Plyuta, 2004;Didukh & Shelyag-Sosonko, 2001;Didukh & Shelyag-Sosonko, 2003;Golubets, 2017;Grozdynskyi, 2013;Grytsyk, Neiko & Melnyk, 2016;Gulac, Marchenko, Kapitanenko, Kuris & Oleksenko, 2022;Gulac, Oleksenko, Kaluha, Kravchenko & Yukhymenko, 2022;Hajibagheri, 2003;Jones, 2012;Kazakov, 2000;Khrystova & Pyurko, 2007;Khrystova & Pyurko, 2009).…”

“…Recently, the scientific community is increasingly aware of the need to integrate the knowledge obtained from the study of processes occurring at different levels of the organization of living systems, starting from the molecular to the cenotic. An important problem is the resistance of plant organisms to stress factors of the external environment: low and high temperatures, environmental pollutants, the consequences of man-made disasters (Box, 2006;Didukh et al, 2004;Golubets, 2017;Gulac, Oleksenko, Kaluha, Kravchenko & Yukhymenko, 2022). Plants have many mechanisms for responding to environmental changes, including various stressors.…”

“…European Union policy on financing eco-innovations in the transition to a green economy Eco-innovations are becoming one of the main priorities of EU policy in almost all types of economic activity. At the level of the countries and in the EU, it is necessary to evaluate and define the promising social, economic and environmental dimensions of developing the eco-innovation strategy (Gulac et al, 2022b). The new economy that is being formed is not only an economy of knowledge and human capital but also of conscious and responsible behaviour for the consequences that future generations may feel.…”

“…The financing of innovative activities has its own specificity due to the high risk of innovation failures and high development costs, which necessitates the development of a policy to stimulate the introduction of eco-innovations, especially in small and medium-sized enterprises. (Oleksenko et al, 2022). Also, environmental regulation and a developed institutional environment stimulate enterprises to reawaken eco-innovations, formulate and implement environmental protection strategies.…”
