Smart grids may be characterized as the amalgamation of electrical grids, communication networks, specialized hardware, and computational intelligence (algorithms). This integration aims to oversee, regulate, and coordinate the generation, distribution, storage, and utilization of energy. Indeed, smart grid technologies have the potential to facilitate the distribution of substantial quantities of power generated from renewable sources. For this purpose, a comprehensive modeling approach is employed to simplify and enhance the feasibility of the task. It introduces a highly intricate system where modeling the components and relationships between entities proves challenging. Optimal energy management is necessary in this case. This paper provides a summary of an investigation into the modeling and optimal management of smart grids. In fact, this work allows a discussion of a hybrid system. Then we briefly introduce the domain of conceptual modeling within the enterprise.

Smart grids studies focus on improving their reliability and reducing the cost of energy, particularly when they are operated onshore. A smart grid can integrate electric vehicles that will greatly modify the urban infrastructure as well as the electrical network. This chapter presents an overview of system modeling for management of smart grids based on renewable energies and functional analysis techniques. In fact, this work allows a discussion of a hybrid system on the one hand and the description of the functional and operational control-command applications method SADT (structured analysis, design technique) and SA-RT (structured analysis real time), on the other hand.

The increase in population and industrialization has increased the consumption of electricity. Currently, it is impossible to live without electricity. Indeed, it is necessary for the economic, social and industrial progress in all the countries of the world. This is why we are always asked to develop all types of energy to produce clean and safe to improve energy efficiency. Indeed, the use of new renewable energy sources helps to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on centralized energy sickles. The difficulties of renewable energy-based power systems lie in their production, which is not controllable and may not meet the increase in energy demand.
