Ovine Pulmonary Infection Caused by Rhodotorula rubra Pulmonale Infektion bei einem Schaf durch Rhodotorula rubra

Abstract: Summary: A case of pulmonary infection due to Rhodotorula rubra in a sheep based upon isolation and histopathological demonstration of the fungus is described. Zusammenfassung: Beschreibung eines Falles einer pulmonalen Infektion durch Rhodotorula rubra bei einem Schaf. Der Organismus konnte mykologisch‐kulturell und histopathologisch nachgewiesen werden. Die Infektion entwickelte sich sehr wahrscheinlich aus einer durch Viren hervorgerufenen pulmonalen Adenomatose.
