P‐103: Optimization of Field of View and Color Uniformity in a Holographic Waveguide Display

Abstract: The paper presents systematic study on field of view (FOV) and color uniformity in a holographic waveguide display. It reveals the theoretical limits of FOV and corresponding color shifts. By adjusting both the slanted angle of gratings and incident angle of micro-display, the wavelength shift reaches 21nm at a FOV of 16 .
