P‐156: Distinguished Poster: Curved Vertical‐alignment Liquid Crystal Display with Uniform brightness: from Pixel Design to Verification

Abstract: Curved liquid crystal displays (LCD) suffers from an issue of uneven brightness among the vertical-alignment (VA) LCD panels based on thin glass substrates. In this work, we investigared its origin through optical simulation and successfully realized uniform brilliance for 27-inch curved LCD panels.
