Many people now consider social media to be an integral part of their daily routines, which has enabled companies to implement successful corporate social responsibility campaigns through these platforms. The direct interaction with stakeholders offered by social media helps companies to build understanding, trust, and their image. The aim of this study was to identify key topics and trends communicated in connection with corporate social responsibility on the Twitter social network from 2017 to 2022. Analysis of 520,638 tweets by 168,134 unique users identified a predominance of environment-related topics: Sustainability, Climate Change, and Waste management. However, Charity remains the largest single topic. Based on the trend analysis, the areas of ESG, Social Impact, and Charity were identified as growth areas in communication, while Green and Philanthropy, on the other hand, were identified as decreasing.

O processo de expansão da Palma de Óleo na Amazônia foi possibilitado pelas condições edafoclimáticas e de ocupação do espaço rural amazônida, o artigo presente traz como objetivo expor a relação da mudança de uso e ocupação da terra e a expansão da Palma de Óleo na Amazônia Oriental, dessa forma metodologicamente se utilizou, principalmente, de imagens de satélite Landsat 07 e 08, para os anos de 2002 e 2020, sendo adotadas classes para a melhor compreensão das diferenças de ocupação do solo entre estes dois períodos, adotando-se 10 classes. Os resultados demonstram que houve um crescimento de 321% relacionado à ocupação da Palma, e que aproximadamente 30% da conversão se deu de territórios que já foram ocupados por atividades agropecuárias e solo exposto por outras atividades, também se traz um quadro que expõe políticas e ferramentas que podem auxiliar na compreensão da expansão dessa monocultura. The dynamics of oil palm expansion - elaeis guineensis jacq in an eastern Amazonian territory A B S T R A C TThe process of expansion of oil palm in the Amazon was made possible by the edaphoclimatic conditions and situation of the occupation of the Amazonian rural space. This article aims to expose the relation between the changes in land use and occupation and the expansion of the oil palm in the Eastern Amazon. Thus, methodologically, mainly Landsat 07 and 08 satellite images were used, for the years 2002 and 2020, with the adoption of classes to better understand the differences in land occupation between these two periods; 10 classes were adopted. The results show that there was a growth of 321% related to the occupation of oil palm, and that approximately 30% of the conversion took place in territories that were already occupied by agricultural activities and soil exposed by other activities. The research also indicates policies and tools that can assist in understanding the expansion of this monoculture. It was concluded that the history of occupation of the towns may differ; however, the occupation by the oil palm can be analyzed in a unified way, as done in this study, and, in addition, a simultaneous joint work of the different fields of interest on the expansion of palm can lead to less harmful results to the inserted environment and the impacted social group.Key Words: land use change, geotechnologies, northeast of Pará.

Concerning human health, consumption of palm oil‐rich foods is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease given their high content of saturated fats such as palmitic acid (C16:0), myristic acid (C14:0), and lauric acid (C12:0) (Savarese et al., 2022; Sulaiman et al., 2022; Wassmann et al., 2023). In our rapidly changing world, where consumers’ expectations for healthy food are on the rise, the edible oil content in packaged foods has become a central focus. Among various types of oils, palm oil is often regarded as one of the most contentious. This research study aimed to identify the types of fats present in packaged food products in Türkiye and examined the reasons for their utilization. A total of 1380 packaged food items, classified into 11 categories, were scrutinized, and the types of oils within their ingredients were classified using principal component analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis. The study's results have determined that among packaged food products available in Türkiye, 50.1% contain palm oil, 30.4% contain sunflower oil, 16.4% contain canola oil, 14.9% contain cottonseed oil, 17.9% contain cocoa oil, and 12.6% contain coconut oil. In particular, it was determined that palm oil was used in 91% of bakery products, 81% of margarine and shortening products, and 71.3% of ice creams. Consequently, the data obtained in the context of ongoing debates regarding the fat content in packaged foods, especially concerning palm oil usage, will make a valuable contribution to the literature.
