“…In this colonial, patriarchal, and military context, violence against peripheral Black women is crossed by intersecting degrees of racism, classism, and sexism that allows for the acquiescence and legitimacy of the invading state (Lugones, 2014). Thus, Black peripheral women experience physical and sexual violence as well as forced labor more intensely, while coloniality produces more violent segregations and hierarchizations (Ballestrin, 2021; Gonzalez, 2020). The strengthening of coloniality is replayed in the elitist thinking of the state where Black women suffer the mark of exploitation both economically and sexually (Gonzalez, 2020).…”
