Parathyroid Carcinoma: Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: Parathyroid carcinoma is a malignant tumor derived from the parenchymal cells of the parathyroid glands. It represents one of the less frequent causes of primary hyperparathyroidism, with an incidence of 0.36 per 10 million people. Knowledge about the history of the disease and prognostic factors is currently limited.
