Abstract: Introduction: Parkinsonism-hyperpyrexia syndrome (PHS) is a rare and potentially fatal complication of Parkinson disease (PD) characterized by a neuroleptic malignant-like syndrome due to abrupt discontinuation of antiparkinsonian medications.
