“…Run P10-1100 in our study is the only experiment that has plagioclase in the subsolidus assemblage at 1 GPa, which is in accordance with Adam et al (1992) and Lambart et al (2009), while reported the presence of plagioclase at 0.7-0.9 GPa in their subsolidus experiments. However, Lambart et al (2009) also described the presence of plagioclase in the solidus assemblage (M5-40 series), which was not observed in both this study and GV10 series in Borghini et al (2017), who attributed this to the low Na 2 O/CaO ratio of the starting pyroxenite that tends to stabilize plagioclase at lower pressure (Borghini et al, 2010;Green and Falloon, 1998). This agrees well with our study too, with YQSX-10 has the highest Na 2 O/CaO ratio of 0.084 in relative to YQSX-12 (0.043) and YQSX-19 (0.060).…”

“…In keeping with Lambart et al (2009) and Borghini et al (2017), our experiments (P12 and P19 series) also have spinel in the residue coexisting with cpx and olivine, possible due to the high Al 2 O 3 contents in the starting pyroxenites (15.7-17.4 wt%), whereas no residual spinel is found in the low-Al clinopyroxenite (only 2.0-5.6 wt% Al 2 O 3 ) experiments from Kogiso and Hirschmann (2001). Run P10-1100 in our study is the only experiment that has plagioclase in the subsolidus assemblage at 1 GPa, which is in accordance with Adam et al (1992) and Lambart et al (2009), while reported the presence of plagioclase at 0.7-0.9 GPa in their subsolidus experiments.…”
