Participatory Budgeting as a Tool of Environmental Improvements in Polish Cities

Abstract: The phenomenon of participatory budgeting in Polish cities shows growing awareness of citizens' role in local development. Participatory budgeting is a tool of partial empowerment of residents through local budgetary policy.
