Shukla et al 20 showed that patient-reported outcomes following elbow and shoulder surgery can be obtained using a Summary Outcome Determination score, which has extremely high agreement between orthopedic providers and the patient. Therefore, follow-up after elbow surgery may be performed effectively by correspondence by having the patient send in a simple questionnaire, ROM photographs, and X-rays taken near home.…”
