The presence of Cirebon coal-fired power plant I and II caused negative effects to coastal morphology and the quality of marine waters. This also have negative impacts to the fisherman around that sea. This study aims to examine the impact of the Cirebon coal-fired power plant on the water quality of Mundu Bay, Cirebon Regency. Water quality is determined based on total suspended solids (TSS), sea surface temperatures (SST), chlorophyll-A, and salinity in the range 1999 – 2019. Data collection was carried out using satellite imagery of Landsat-5 TM, Landsat- 7 ETM+, and Landsat-8 OLI verified with in-situ field measurements, Sentinel-2 A MSI, and MODIS Aqua imageries. Changes in water quality due to the infrastructure of the two power plants are known through the Mann-Whitney U-Test and Spearman’s correlation analysis. This research shows that two Cirebon coal-fired power plant has a significant effect on changes in the quality of Mundu Bay waters. Changes in water quality are shown by a significant increase in TSS concentrations and SST values accompanied by a decrease in chlorophyll-A levels and salinity levels. Changes in the quality of these waters also disrupt marine biota habitat and cause fishermen in around are difficult to get the ideal catchment yield.

Cultivating fish in rural areas is one of the efforts to increase food security and the income of its citizens. Every villager can raise consumption and ornamental fish by making ponds in their large yard. Temperature strongly influences Fish cultivation. The high value of temperature fluctuations in the habitat can reduce feeding activity. It also affects the metabolism of the fish larvae. Temperature changes in fish habitats are affected by changes in environmental temperature. Information regarding weather forecasts is very much needed to anticipate environment temperature and humidity changes. In this study, we want to compare the results of temperature and humidity readings by wunderground.com and IoT monitoring devices toward the habitat of Polyculture Fish cultivation Pond. Both show identical temperature patterns had a deviation value is (+2 o C). Meanwhile, both results of humidity measurements appear to be inaccurate, either because they are outside the measurement value or refer to the reference data. Based on monitoring results, both methods can use monitoring the temperature and humidity of the environmental pond.

Temperature is an object of research that is often studied. Research on temperature is within the scope of control and monitoring. The process of controlling and monitoring temperature is influenced by the selection of the right temperature sensor. The temperature sensors that are often used are the LM35 sensor and the DHT11 sensor. The LM35 sensor has advantages in terms of a simple design and easy to implement, while the DHT11 sensor has the advantage because in one sensor package there are two functions, namely to measure air temperature and humidity. In this study, temperature measurement accuracy was carried out to facilitate researchers in determining the right temperature sensor. The data monitoring method uses the internet of things (IoT). The results of the research show that the DHT11 temperature sensor is more accurate and more stable than the LM35 temperature sensor. The results of the sensor test at room temperature, the DHT11 sensor has an accuracy rate of 97.21% while the LM35 sensor has an accuracy rate of 96.86%. While the results of the sensor test in the server room, the DHT11 sensor has an accuracy rate of 95.26%, while the LM35 sensor has an accuracy rate of 90.32%.
