The problem grid is an important part of the problem formulation rules which serves to maintain quality so that the measurement function can be carried out properly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the multiple-choice question grid and the quality of Biology questions. The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The research was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The research sample is Biology Education students in 2020/2021 who are taking the learning evaluation course using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was the form of a questionnaire containing the assessment of the item grid. Path analysis is used in data processing with the help of SmartPLS software. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between the grid of multiple choice questions on biology material and the quality of the questions which consisted of the accuracy of the material, the accuracy of the indicators, the accuracy of the item indicators, operational verbs, cognitive processes, answer choices, statement suitability, and language suitability. In addition, prospective educators must have the ability to compose a question grid following the components and quality of the grid so that they can compile quality instruments so that they can measure what should be measured.

Object Analysis Of Middle Semester Examination For Biocemistry CourseSemester 4a Bengkulu Uinfas For Academic Year 2021. This study aims to determine the analysis of midterm exam questions for semester 4A biochemistry courses at UINFAS Bengkulu for the 2021 academic year. This research was carried out at UINFAS Bengkulu. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method using data that has been collected in the form of interviews with lecturers of the 4A semester Biochemistry course who are natural in nature. The research was conducted using a subject in the form of a lecturer in Biochemistry courses, while the object used midterm exam questions. Thus it can be concluded that the results of this study indicate that ongoing learning has been achieved well enough to be able to achieve what was previously expected. So that the quality of questions for the Biochemistry subject in semester 4 A at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu has good quality questions. Even though there were students who got low scores, the scores obtained by these students were dominated by high scores.

The teacher's ability to construct assessment instruments is a focus that needs to be considered. Furthermore, the demand of the 21st century directs teachers to set questions that are oriented to train students' abilities in higher-order thinking. However, several factors affect the ability to construct HOTS-oriented assessment instruments. This study aims to investigate what factors influence geography teachers’ ability to develop higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) instruments to measure learning outcomes. This study used a survey method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was field observation, and multiple linear regression was used for analysis. The results showed the linearity of teacher education regarding the length of teaching geography was 0.904, the tertiary institution was 0.009, and the background of education was 0.019. Also, teachers' certification was 0.007, their training was 0.032, and their experience in making HOTS questions was 0.047. The coefficient value of determination R, namely 0.635 means the relationship between teaching length, the linearity of their education in tertiary institutions, background, certification, training, and experience regarding the ability to develop HOTS-oriented assessment instruments is 63.5%. This means the relationship is strong, and 36.5% is another factor. This study concludes that the factors that significantly affect the ability of geography teachers in developing HOTS-oriented assessment instruments are the linearity factor of teacher education in universities, education background, certification, teacher training and experience in making HOTS questions.
