Abstract:Background: Periapical radiographic x-ray exposure can blood cells damage, such as platelets by forming free radicals indirectly or attacks DNA and RNA of cells directly. Antioxidants are needed to counteract the effects of free radicals from periapical radiographic x-ray exposure.
