Pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi SAS Planet terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa

Abstract

The ability to think strategically in the 21st century is the ability to think spatially. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the SAS Planet-assisted Problem Based Learning model on students' spatial thinking skills. The research uses a posttest only control group design. The research subjects included two classes, namely XI IPS A as the experimental class and X IPS B as the control class. The research instrument used essay tests on spatial thinking skills. Research data in the form of average values and statistical tests were tested using a t-test using SPSS for windows at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the research showed that there was a significant difference in scores between the experimental class and the control class, so the SAS Planet-assisted Problem Based Learning model had an effect on students' spatial thinking skills.
 Kemampuan berpikir yang strategis dalam abad 21 yaitu kemampuan berpikir spasial. Riset ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning berbantuan SAS Planet terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa. Desain riset yang digunakan adalah postest only control group design. Subjek riset diambil dari dua kelas yaitu XI IPS A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X IPS B sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrument penelitian menggunakan soal tes esai kemampuan berpikir spasial. Data riset berupa nilai rata-rata dan uji statistitk yang diuji menggunakan uji-t menggunakan SPSS for windows pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil riset yang didapat adalah terdapat perbedaan signifikan perolehan skor antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol, maka dapat di tarik kesimpulan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan SAS Planet berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa.
