Poverty is a complex and multidimensional problem occurring in various countries, one of which is Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the effect of GRDP, education, and the Gender Empowerment Index (GEI) on poverty in five regencies in Central Java from 2010 - 2021. The Central Bureau of Statistics provided secondary data for this descriptive quantitative research. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with panel data. The results showed that GRDP and education had a negative and significant effect on poverty. Gender Empowerment Index had no effect on poverty due to gender inequality. The implications of this research were the regional governments of Kebumen, Brebes, Pemalang, Banjarnegara, and Banyumas Regencies need to continue exploring and managing the potential of existing resources to encourage an increase in GRDP in the five regencies. In addition, the governments in those regions must make education more easily accessible, enhance their educational initiatives, and consistently assess how successfully they are reaching their intended audiences in order to reduce poverty.

Poverty is a common phenomenon that occurs in all countries and at all times. This study aims to determine the factors that allegedly affect poverty in Maluku Province such as the level of education, health and per capita income. Data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in the form of data on average length of schooling (RLS), life expectancy (AHH), per capita income and poverty rate. The method used is multiple liear regression. The results showed that RLS had a significant negative effect on the poverty rate while AHH and per capita income had a negative and significant effect on reducing the poverty rate.

Kemiskinan merupakan masalah yang dihadapi oleh seluruh dunia khususnya negara berkembang. Sebagai salah satu negara berkembang, Indonesiamemprioritaskan pengentasan kemiskinan dalam Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB) dan RPJMN 2020-2024, khususnyadi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) sebagai provinsi dengan persentase penduduk miskin tertinggi ketiga di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisa terhadap rumahtangga miskin sector pertanian di NTT tahun 2020, mengingat sebagian besar rumahtangga miskin di NTT berasal dari sektor pertanian. Hasil analisis regresi logistik biner menggunakan data Susenas Maret 2020 menunjukkan bahwa usia Kepala Rumah tangga (KRT), pendidikan KRT, jumlah ART, akses terhadap kredit usaha, akses internet, dan subsektor pertanian berpengaruh signifikan sedangkan jenis kelamin KRT dan kepemilikan lahan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap status kemiskinan rumah tangga sektor pertanian di NTT tahun 2020.Untuk mengatasi kemiskinan pada rumah tangga pertanian di NTT maka pemerintah perlu mengevaluasi program wajib belajar 12 tahun dan keluarga berencana dengan cukup 2 anak di NTT mengingat kecenderungan menjadi miskin lebih besar terjadi pada rumahtangga dengan pendidikan KRT SMP ke bawah, jumlah ART minimal 4 dan usia KRT lebih muda. Selain itu diperlukan pengembangan usaha pertanian pada sektor yang lebih produktif dengan kemudahan akses terhadap kredit usaha dan TIK untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas.
