Pengembangan Alat Praktikum Gerak Jatuh Bebas Menggunakan Sensor Phototransistor Untuk Pembelajaran Fisika Pada Materi Gerak Jatuh Bebas

Abstract: This study aims to produce free fall practicum tools by utilizing phototransistor sensors to record the travel time of objects that fall from the starting point to the end point. Dealing with free falling equipment (GJB), equipment in schools is generally still very simple that is using a stopwatch. This type of research is a research and development using 4-d model (define, design, develop and disseminate), which is limited to the stage of development to practicalization activities. Data were collected throug… Show more

“…In other hand, some schools have a lack of equipment to conduct free-fall experiment, such as photogate and electronic timers due to their high cost. Alternatively, the use of stopwatch for time taken implies the random errors and cause results to be less accurate [7]. In order to solve these difficulties, therefore, this present study tries to develop an experimental kit in line with the development of current technology that is by using smartphones where the Phyphox application is used to record falling object more accurately.…”

“…To make it easier for teachers and students the gain knowledge of the system with free-fall motion props, the concept of automation on the tool will be applied [8]. Therefore the Internet of Things (IoT) will be combined with free-fall motion props to make it automated and join it to different objects through a network [9]. So in this study, we design and implement free-fall motion props by using IoT technology as an assessment medium that can be used by teachers and students [10].…”
