Cognitive impairment is defined as a decrease in cognitive function which is characterized by difficulty in learning new things, remembering, concentrating, mental disorders, behavioral disorders and making decisions. Cognitive disorders in drug abusers will have an impact on impaired cognitive function. Drug abusers are increasing every year, so researchers are interested in analyzing the risk factors for cognitive impairment in drug inmates at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police detention center. The research design used is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The research location is at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police detention center with a population of 2023 drug convicts for the period from May to December, totaling 112 people and the sample is the entire population because it uses total sampling. The variables studied were knowledge, length of use, age at first use and type of drug used. The results of statistical tests using chi-square are that there is a relationship between the risk factor variables knowledge, duration of drug use, and the type of drug used and cognitive disorders with a p value <α (0.05). Meanwhile, the risk factor variable, age of first using drugs, has no relationship with cognitive impairment in drug convicts at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police detention center. The results of the chi-square statistical test obtained a value of p=0.594, where the value of p>α (0.05). The knowledge risk factor is the risk factor that has the most dominant influence, causing cognitive disorders in drug convicts at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Detention Center as proven by the results of the logistic regression test, which obtained the highest Odd Ratio (OR) value among the other risk factor variables tested, namely 79.414 and The significance value (sig.) is 0.019 < 0.025. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, there is a relationship between the risk factors of knowledge, duration of drug use, and the type of drug used and cognitive disorders in drug inmates. Latar belakang: Penyalahgunaan NAPZA merupakan pemakaian obat-obatan atau zat berbahaya yang bertujuan bukan untuk pengobatan dan penelitian serta digunakan tanpa mengikuti aturan dosis yang benar. Pengetahuan terhadap NAPZA sangat penting diberikan kepada masyarakat mengingat kasus penyalahgunaan NAPZA yang terus meningkat tiap tahunnya. Pengetahuan masyarakat yang baik akan membentuk sikap yang baik pula sehingga masyarakat akan terhindar dari penyalahgunaan NAPZA. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan terhadap sikap penggunaan NAPZA di Masyarakat Kota Palu. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dalam bentuk hard file, kemudian data di analisis menggunakan metode chi-square dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 400 responden. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan pengetahuan masyarakat Kota Palu terhadap penggunaan NAPZA termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 80%. Sikap masyarakat terhadap penggunaan NAPZA memiliki persentase sikap positif yang lebih besar (51,5%) dari pada sikap negatif. Pada hasil analisa uji chi-square didapatkan nilai p value pengetahuan dan sikap 0,000 lebih kecil dari nilai ? = 0,05. Kesimpulan: Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat Kota Palu terhadap penggunaan NAPZA. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa semakin baik tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap penggunaan NAPZA maka sikap yang dihasilkan semakin positif.

Drug abuse in Indonesia has reached an alarming level. The largest proportion of drug abusers in 2017 was the group of private workers and laborers, which was 59%. BNNK Batam in collaboration with trade unions and academics conducted a workshop with the theme of strategies and policies on Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics (P4GN) in creating anti-drug activists in the work environment. The purpose of this workshop is so that the participants can become BNN activists in the local environment. The strategies that must be carried out by the company and the trade unions themselves in P4GN's efforts in the work environment include: conducting medical tests for employees; drug testing for employees suspected of being addicts, intensive information dissemination and advocacy to provide education to workers; Trade unions must encourage their members to be active in P2K3, include drug problems in the collective labor agreement (PKB), and for employees: active in spiritual activities, nature lover activities, social activities, in sports activities, trade union activities, adequate rest and relaxation with family on holidays.
