Penyegaran Kader Tentang ASI EKsklusif Di Desa Sukabanjar, Kabupaten Pesawaran, Provinsi Lampung

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding only for infants aged 0 to 6 months without other additional food including liquids unless indicated. Infants up to six months of age are entitled to exclusive breastfeeding. Increasing knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding can optimize the role of cadres as a motivator in exclusive breastfeeding. The cadre refresher activity aims to improve the cadres' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities regarding exclusive breastfeeding in an effort to increase the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in Sukabanjar Village. Cadre refresher activities, namely delivering materials and providing assistance to cadres in assessing breastfeeding mothers and providing education to breastfeeding mothers. The result of the activity was that there was an increase in cadres' knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and the support of cadres and village heads with the formation of breastfeeding support groups.
