Kata Kunci: Deteksi Dini, Iva , Breast Self-Examination dan Wanita ABSTRACT Cancer is still a frightening disease, apart from the high cost of surgery, public awareness for prevention is very low. One of the inhibiting factors for cancer prevention is the lack of knowledge about cancer, starting from the signs, causative factors, to prevention/early detection of breast cancer, which is the cancer with the highest number of sufferers in the world.(Purba & Simanjuntak, 2019) The prevalence of breast cancer in Indonesia is 40 per 100,000 population. New figures released by WHO on Friday (3/2/2017) show that every year 8.8 million people die from cancer, mainly in low and medium prayer countries. One major problem is that many cases of cancer are diagnosed too late. Even in countries with optimal health systems, many cases of cancer are diagnosed at an advanced stage. In Indonesia, based on 2013 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) data, the prevalence of cancer in Indonesia is 1.4 per 1000 population or around 347 thousand people. One of the causes of the high death rate from breast cancer is the lack of public knowledge, especially women. If this condition is not immediately resolved, the belief will be pressure from the situation so that the number of sufferers of these two types of cancer will continue to increase every year. One form of early detection of breast cancer is using the Breast Self-Examination/BSE technique and also through IVA examination for early detection of cervical cancer.(Riskesdas, 2013) In several countries, early detection programs have been proven to be able to reduce the incidence and death from cancer. This community service activity was carried out for 1 week by providing education for 2 days accompanied directly in IVA examinations and watching videos on how to do BSE. The parties involved in this community service activity were lecturers, students and the mother of the Raudatul Janah recitation as the target group. The initial stage is counseling about the dangers of breast and cervical cancer, watching BSE videos, being treated for how to do a Breast Self-Examination and assisted in carrying out an IVA examination. Then the results of the education that has been given will be evaluated using observation sheets or checklist sheets on how to do the Breast Self-Examination Technique. from this community service activity there is an increase in the skills of mothers in carrying out Breast Self-Examination, it is hoped that midwives at the Sowi Health Center can routinely provide education to mothers/Women of childbearing age about Breast Self-Examination/BSE and carry out Routine IVA checks Keywords: Early Detection, Iva , Breast Self-Examination and Women
