The strategy for learning speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects with news text material is included in the learning outcomes (CP) elements of speaking and presenting. The purpose of speaking skills in learning Indonesian is for students to be able to convey information orally by going through the stages of critical, creative and innovative thinking in writing news coherently. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the implementation of the news anchor-based speaking skills learning method in SMK. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques, namely interviews, notes, and listening. Data analysis techniques are carried out by explaining the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning as a strategy for learning speaking skills. The findings in this study obtained a total of 39 scores from a number of 12 instrument indicators regarding the implementation of news anchor-based students' speaking skills methods at SMK. In this study, if the average value is 4, then a value of 3.25 is obtained from the recapitulation of values using the formula in the evaluation process.
