First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest and sincere gratitude to my supervisor Associate Professor Goh Wang Ling, for taking me on as her student. Considering my background in mechanical engineering, she provided me with the opportunity to work on this interdisciplinary project. Throughout my study, I have received invaluable guidance and support, both mentally and technically from Prof. Goh. Besides, I am extremely grateful to my co-supervisors, Professor Ong Yew Soon and Dr. Do Anh Tuan. Dr. Do has provided invaluable contributions to my research work.
