Abstract:Background: The use of drug-eluting stents (DES) resulted in innovative progress in the field of interventional Cardiology. Nowadays, the most common indication for coronary stenting is acute coronary syndromes (ACS) due to the better clinical consequences of PCI compared with conservative management.
