Performance analysis of ALOHA and p-persistent ALOHA for multi-hop underwater acoustic sensor networks

Abstract: The extreme conditions under which multi-hop underwater acoustic sensor networks (UASNs) operate constrain the performance of medium access control (MAC) protocols.
