Performance characteristics of a compact position-sensitive LSO detector module

Abstract: Abstract-We assembled a compact detector module comprised of an array of small, individual crystals of lutetium oxyorthosilicate:Ce (LSO) coupled directly to a miniature, metal-can, position-sensitive photomultiplier tube (PSPMT).
