Abstract: Chronic constriction injury (CCI) is a common clinical entity and characterized by allodynia or spontaneous neuropathic pain. Treatment of neuropathic pain is difficult, because a lack of knowledge about the underlying mechanisms and limited effectiveness of the existing drugs.
