PERILAKU KOROSI Ti-6Al-4V ELI DALAM LARUTAN HANK’S UNTUK APLIKASI IMPLAN

Abstract: Titanium dan paduannya lebih banyak dipilih untuk pemasangan implan ortopedi karena mempunyai sifat tahan korosi dan sifat mekanik yang jauh lebih baik dibanding baja tahan karat (stainless steel). Namun demikian, penggunaan titanium dan paduannya masih memiliki kekurangan. Salah satunya, ketahanan korosi titanium dapat berkurang di lingkungan asam (pH asam).
