Peripartum cardiomyopathy: Current therapeutic perspectives

Abstract: Peripartum cardiomyopathy is a rare condition of unclear etiology that accounts for an important percentage of pregnancy-related deaths. Deaths from peripartum cardiomyopathy can be attributed to profound left ventricular failure, thromboembolic events, or arrhythmia.
