Peroral endoscopic myotomy in a pregnant woman diagnosed with mitochondrial disease: A case report

Abstract: BACKGROUND Achalasia is a primary esophageal motility disease characterized by impairment of normal esophageal peristalsis and absence of relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter.
