“…Studies have shown that compared with face-to-face comparisons, upward comparisons which refer to individuals comparing themselves with those who are better off ( Festinger, 1954 ; Zheng et al, 2020 ) through social media will bring more negative emotions ( Fardouly et al, 2017 ), which may lead to cyberbullying.
