Perspective Solutions for the Design of Drilling Tools

Abstract: The article considers the ways to solve optimization problems of drill bits on a deterministic basis through studying and using the “Regularity of energy consumption of dynamic systems from resistance to motion forces”, which directly indicates the causes of bit balling formation, the reasons for the insufficient stability of the bearing assemblies of the cones, the causes of instability of the drill bits at the bottom of the well. Theoretical grounded search was done to use certain methods for designing drill… Show more

“…In synchronous turbine generators there is a powerful rotor array with a complex pattern of magnetic flux penetration into steel, slot wedges made of non-ferrous metal, etc., therefore, the equivalent circuit of the machine essentially corresponds to the circuit with distributed constants. The equivalent generator parameters are highly slip dependent [7][8][9].…”

“…where А v is specific volumetric fracture works, N/mm 3 ; А t is total work spent on deformation and destruction of the rock by indentation stamp, N; V is deformed rock volume, mm 3 . The specific contact and specific volumetric fracture work, respectively, in forms (1) and (2) are objective energy criteria for static rock destruction under a stamp [8].…”
