Phase formation in Ag-sheathed (Bi,Pb)/sub 2/Sr/sub 2/Ca/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 10/ tapes using a one- and two-powder process with and without Ag additions
Abstract:Absfract-The formation of (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3010 ((Bi,Pb)2223) in Agsheathed tapes was compared for two different powder processing techniques. In one technique, a phase assemblage of (Bi,Pb)2Sr2CaCu20g ((Bi,Pb)2212), (Ca,Sr)2CuOj , and CuO was produced in a single powder processed by Aerosol Spray Pyrolysis (ASP). This is called a 1-powder procesr. In the other technique, the same phase assemblage was produced by mixing a precursor powder composed of (Bi,Pb)2212 with a second precursor powder composed of Ca2CuO… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
