Phosphorylation of ornithine decarboxylase by a polyamine-dependent protein kinase.

Abstract: This paper presents evidence that a polyaminedependent protein idnase (EC 2.7A 1.37) purified from nuclei ofthe slime mold Physarum polycephalum catalyzes phosphorylation of ornithine decarboxylase (OrnDCase; L-ornithine carboxy-lyase, EC 4.1.
