“…Next, we further characterized the structure of the two types of CDs by Raman spectroscopy. The Raman spectra show that the HA-CDs have two peaks at 1400 and 1590 cm –1 , and the Nap-CDs have two peaks at 1415 and 1604 cm –1 , corresponding to the disordered D band and the graphite G band, respectively (Figure f,g). , The intensity ratios of the D band and G band ( I D / I G ) are 1.08 and 0.78, respectively, indicating that both CDs have certain structural defects. , In addition, the HA-CDs also exhibited two relatively obvious peaks at 1238 and 1624 cm –1 , which may be related to the −COOH functional group and CC bond, respectively. , According to the above structural and morphological characterizations, we speculate that the two kinds of CDs are composed of a graphitized sp 2 carbon core and surface carboxyl functional groups. The presence of a large amount of CO and −COOH on the surface of CDs makes it possible to produce RTP …”

“…As we know, excessive exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light can result in damage to cellular DNA, leading to tanning, sunburn, and potentially skin cancer. 29 Sunlight, the primary source of UV radiation, consists primarily of UVA rays (320−400 nm), with smaller quantities of UVB rays (275−320 nm). 30 However, quantifying the intensity of UVA radiation in sunlight remains challenging.…”
