PHTF2 regulates lipids metabolism in gastric cancer

Abstract: Identification of hub genes and key pathways of gastric cancer was recognized to be essential to elucidate the tumorigenesis of GC. This study was aimed to identify the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in GC via bioinformatics methods and their related pathways involved in the pathological process of GC. Gene expression profile datasets acquired by microarray chips or RNA-seq were downloaded from GEO dataset and TCGA, and 298 differentially expressed genes was identified. The Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto … Show more

“…There were several literatures using the same dataset in this study ( Chen et al, 2020 ; Chi et al, 2020 ; Li Z. et al, 2020 ; Tian et al, 2020 ; Wang F. et al, 2020 ; Wu et al, 2020 ). However, most of them selected multiple genes for GC by some routine methods and did not concentrate on one gene/biomarker.…”

“…metabolism-related genes are reported to affect the prognosis of gastric cancer 30 . Furthermore, PHTF2 is found to regulates lipids metabolism in gastric cancer 31 . But most of these studies concentrate on protein-coding genes, the metabolism-related non-coding RNA remains largely unexplored.…”
