“…46 Similarly, Kocak et al reported that among the 333 girls and 359 boys, girls had lower PA level and participated less in sport than boys. 47 In addition, it was reported that Turkish boys devoted more time to moderate to vigorous PA than girls among the 1044 adolescents aged between12 and 13 years in the urban areas of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir in Turkey. 48 It is beneficial to emphasize that diversity and the residential status of the adolescents such as residing in urban or suburban communities, and heterogeneity of the target groups, social variables, cultural norms and disparities within and/or out of the groups and living conditions might be the reasons for finding conflicting results with the previous literature.…”

For this, in the interpretation of the results of item 3 of the CPIDEF it is important to note that there are no significant differences found between boys and girls when they give their opinion as to whether the teaching staff organizes them so that there are boys and girls in the same group (Hypothesis ≠ 5).…”

“…Estos datos difieren de DelCastillo (2009), quien indica en su investigación que los profesores realizan una agrupación distinta del alumnado en función del género del mismo, no mostrándose esta tendencia en profesoras. Koçak, Harris, Kin y Çiçek (2002) afirman que en los grupos mixtos las chicas interaccionan menos que cuando están formados por personas del mismo género.…”
