Abstract: This study attempts to clarify the basic material properties of in-vivo-fabricated hyaluronan (HA)/bacterial cellulose (BC) nanocomposites prepared previously. BC membranes (pellicles) generated by Gluconacetobacter hansenii (G. hansenii) are promising biomaterials owing to their outstanding biocompatible properties.
