The existing research has determined lethal temperatures, and/or metabolic curves (Scholander curves) for only seven species, and we do not have values of critical and lethal temperatures for all of them (Arends, Bonaccorso, & Genoud, 1995;Carpenter & Graham, 1967;Cruz-Neto & Abe, 1997;McManus, 1975;McNab, 1969;Soriano, Ruiz, & Arends, 2002).
