“…Recent review of literature indicates that many researchers have successfully applied the reversed phase thin-layer chromatography (RP-TLC and RP-HPTLC) in lipophilicity studies of various organic compounds with herbicidal activity. Application of RP-TLC and RP-HPTLC in lipophilicity investigations of some newly synthesized herbicides (e.g., s-triazines) and also derivatives of N-aryltrichloroacetamides was widely reported by Janicka et al [6,[13][14][15][16][17][18] For the determination of lipophilic properties of these compounds, a new method based on O scik's equation and also different theoretical programs were used.
