Plant growth regulator and soil fertilizer improve production and growing stage of Brachiaria decumbens

Abstract: It is necessary to increase the rates of initial growth of pastures for use during the better planting period. Thus, two experiments were used to evaluate the effect of plant growth regulator (PGR; auxins, gibberellins and cytokinins) in seeds types (coated with polymer coating fungicide and conventional method) and nitrogen fertilization methods in Brachiaria decumbens cv. Basilisk on the germination, growth, development and physiological composition. From the regression estimates, lower levels of PGR (10.3; … Show more

“…Bioregulators and biostimulant did not influence DM performance, which coincides with that published by Guilcapi et al (2019), who pointed out that gibberellins, cytokinins and ethylene did not influence the DM yield of A. elatius. However, the results obtained differed from the work carried out by Rocha et al (2019) in B. decumbens, in which the bioregulators notably improved DM performance when using high levels of Stimulate® (kinetin, gibberellic acid and indolebutyric acid) (16 to 24 mg kg -1 ). On the contrary, in the forage plant triticale cv.…”

“…Abril-Junio. Rocha et al (2019) en B. decumbens, en el cual los biorreguladores mejoraron notablemente el rendimiento de MS cuando utilizaron niveles altos de Stimulate® (kinetina, ácido giberélico y ácido indolbutírico) (16 a 24 mg.kg -1 ). Por el contrario, en la planta forrajera triticale cv.…”

“…Nutrient elements in the soil play vital roles in terms of improving the production and growing stage of plants [42]. The black soil had the highest vegetation coverage, the thickest humus layer, and the largest accumulation of TN, which was mainly distributed in the surface layer (0-10 cm).…”
