Plant mediated synthesis of Iron nanoparticles and their Applications: A Review

Abstract: Nanoparticles form the basis of nanoscience and nanotechnology which are considered as the most growing disciplines amongst various fields of science. Various methods for synthesis of nanoparticles include conventional methods like hydrothermal method, sol-gel method, laser-ablation, electrochemical techniques and thermal methods. However biogenic synthesis of iron nanoparticles is advantageous over conventional methods due to its eco-friendly, simple, costeffective and non-toxic properties. Iron nanoparticles… Show more

“…The vertical axis of the dendrogram signifies the distance of dissimilarity among the clusters while the horizontal axis represents the clusters. In Figure 4, clusters are grouped as A, B, and C. The experimental runs performed B (1,7,34,29,25,11,2,19,28,5,15,18,20,32,43,23,46,37,10,16,27,9,21,40,36,45,35,36,22) are grouped under cluster A, runs performed under cluster B (8,17,33,39,30,38,24,14,4) while the cluster C includes groups (12,31,44,26,41,13,42). The clustering of the data is grouped according to their initial dye concentration.…”

“…Some treatment procedures for effluent discharged from textile industry have been used in the past such as advanced oxidation process, ion exchange, photodegradation, electrochemical degradation (4) but have some limitations. Iron nanoparticles synthesized from Datura inoxia (Di-FeNPs) with their extraordinary https://www.indjst.org/ potential for adsorption, uniform size distribution, small size, and more surface area, are evidence to be an adsorbent leader to remove many pollutants specifically dyes from aquatic bodies (5) . The toxicity of products of chemical synthesis of metal NPs is a challenge in front of their absolute properties which have been resolved by the green synthesis procedures.…”

“…Nanoparticles (NPs) are considered as the hotspot among various fields of science. Various methods for the synthesis of NPs include conventional methods like hydrothermal method, sol-gel method, laser-ablation, electrochemical techniques and thermal methods [31][32][33][34][35]. The current methods of immobilization and subsequent separation of bacterial cells by magnetic NPs (MNPs) are creative and promising [36].…”
