Plaque Vulnerability Index Predicts Cardiovascular Events: A Histological Study of an Endarterectomy Cohort

Abstract: Background The balance between stabilizing and destabilizing atherosclerotic plaque components is used in experimental studies and in imaging studies to identify rupture prone plaques.
