Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor‐1 Expression by Brain Microvessel Endothelial Cells Is Inhibited by Elevated Glucose

Abstract: Patients with diabetes are predisposed to microvascular disease. In the retina and brain, this is characterized by neovascularization and new capillary formation.
