“…After vaccination started in February, 1961, and up to four weeks after the end of Type 3 vaccination, as shown in Table 18 by week of occurrence, there were 11 cases of poliomyelitis, or an average of one case per week. Five of the cases were in vaccinees, occurring three, seven, and 11 days after Type 1, and two and 28 days after Type 3. Although viruses isolated from these cases are being studied, it is clear that no increase in polio followed vaccination.…”
